Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that supports nervous system regulation, making it especially effective for children with sensory processing challenges, anxiety, autism, or PDA. Using light, sustained touch, CST helps the body release tension, improve self-regulation, and restore emotional and physical balance.

It works by gently supporting the movement of cerebrospinal fluid and helping to regulate the vagus nerve, an essential part of the nervous system involved in digestion, emotional balance, and the body's stress response. By easing patterns of tension, including intracranial pressure, CST creates space for the nervous system to settle and function more effectively.

The way I work is flexible and child-led. Some children receive CST as a standalone therapy, while for others, I weave it naturally into tutoring sessions, often while reading or playing together on the floor. Sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, where your child feels most relaxed.

While CST is particularly helpful for neurodivergent children, it is also beneficial for any child or adult experiencing stress, burnout, or simply in need of deep rest and regulation.

CST complements occupational therapy beautifully, enhancing sensory integration by calming the nervous system and providing a soothing, grounding experience that supports long-term emotional wellbeing and resilience.
